Cruise Duck Tags
Create a readable cruise-duck tag that explains the choice, protects privacy and gives the duck a durable identity.
Reviewed by the Cruise Life editorial teamEssential tag information
Include a short public duck reference, “keep or hide” wording, and a secure Cruise Life URL or QR code. A ship or broad sailing month can add context, but personal contact details are unnecessary.
Privacy by design
Never print a child’s full name, cabin number, booking reference, email address, home address or live itinerary. Public journey updates should use a nickname and a general onboard location only.
Make it seaworthy
Use water-resistant stock, rounded corners and a secure attachment that cannot easily become litter. Keep the label small enough that it does not create a snagging hazard.
